Starseed Hostel — Terms of Service

Welcome to Starseed Hostel (“Starseed Hostel,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, facilities, studios, event spaces, services, and any bookings or purchases you make (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction), and

  • Able to enter a legally binding contract.

If you use our space on behalf of a business or group, you confirm you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.

2. Bookings & Payments

2.1 Reservations

Booking a studio, event space, or other service requires full or partial payment depending on the service.

2.2 Cancellations & Refunds

Unless otherwise stated:

  • 48+ hours notice: eligible for refund or credit

  • Less than 48 hours: non-refundable

  • No-shows: full charge applies

Event bookings may have separate cancellation rules.

2.3 Late Payments

Unpaid balances may result in cancellation of your booking and/or denial of future services.

3. Use of Facilities

When using Starseed Hostel studios or event spaces, you agree to:

  • Use equipment responsibly

  • Follow posted rules and staff instructions

  • Leave spaces in reasonably clean condition

  • Not engage in illegal activities

3.1 Damage & Liability

You are financially responsible for:

  • Damage to equipment

  • Damage to Studio/Facility property

  • Excessive cleaning fees

We reserve the right to charge your card on file or invoice you.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Smoke inside the facility

  • Bring weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials

  • Engage in harassment, violence, or disruptive behavior

  • Use our space for unauthorised events

  • Violate noise policies or disturb others

We may remove any person violating these rules without refund.

5. Content Ownership & Media Usage

If you create photos, videos, music, or other content at Starseed Hostel:

  • You own your content

  • You grant us permission to use non-private photos or videos taken in common/public areas for marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing

We will never use your private studio recordings or confidential projects without your explicit permission.

6. Safety & Liability Disclaimer

While we maintain a safe environment, you use our facilities at your own risk.
Starseed Hostel is not liable for:

  • Personal injury

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings

  • Damages caused by other guests or third parties

We recommend not leaving valuables unattended.

7. Events & Third-Party Vendors

If you host or attend an event at Starseed Hostel:

  • You are responsible for your guests’ behavior

  • Outside vendors must be pre-approved

  • Starseed Hostel is not responsible for third-party services, vendors, or disputes

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our Services means you accept the new Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any Services at any time for:

  • Violating these Terms

  • Engaging in unsafe or illegal activity

  • Non-payment

You agree that we are not liable for losses resulting from termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
